The server of Dorksnet, over the ages, has served us well... but as of recent, has become prone to netsplits, crashing, banning mibbit users, and variously malfunctioning.
As we have grown in size, this has grown to be unacceptable. From now on, the main server will be irc.sorcery.net . We will still RP on the Dorksnet server until (most) everyone has moved over, but for now all should get used to this new server, which will have all the mobius rooms at the same place they were before ( #mobius , #mobius_ooc , etc)
To register your nickname on the new server (required to be voiced/etc), you use the following command:
/NickServ REGISTER [your password] [your email address]
Please be patient as we transition; it shall take a little work to get everyone moved over, but I assure you, once the move is done, everything should be business as usual. |
